The Cities Cup Conquers Warwick - 10/10/07
Sunday 10 October saw the UK Cities Cup series hit historic Warwick for the penultimate race before the series draws to a close with the Oxford city race in just over a months time.
Competitors faced a course of contrasts. From the opening and closing forays into pits, knolls and depressions, to the streets, alleys and passageways of Warwick which interlinked the mixed parkland to the north, Warwick Castle to the south and a final push for home through gardens, crazy golf and playing fields to the finish. Warwick opens its Castle gates for race 5 - 09/09/07
Warwick Town and castle provide the backdrop to the penultimate race of the series. Octavian Droobers have pulled out all the stops for this race including gaining exclusive access to Warwick Castle which is sure to provide another exciting set of courses. UK Cities Cup rolls in to Lincoln for race 4 - 21/08/07
No sooner has Kingussie been completed, our attentions swing towards race 4 - Lincoln. The local club are experts at urban race planning with most of their top terrain being in urban environments so this promises to be another good race and continue the high standards set by UK Cities Cup race planners and organisers.
